Hip-hop legend Guru of Gang Starr, passed away today after a year long battle with cancer while spending the past month in a coma from a heart attack - dude was just 43.

From the skateboard cultures' perspective, Gang Starr was one of those artists (Dinosaur Jr., David Bowie, Morrissey etc.) that share such a harmonic bond between their music and skateboarding video parts. I wonder if the early Boondoggle edit of David Jaimes's part to 'Moment of Truth' is still lurking on a hard drive out there.
