These dunk lows came out to honor the Roswell Rayguns, which were a fictional ABA team featured in a 02' Nike commercial. The black shoes represented the "home" jerseys and a complimentary white pair of dunk lows were released, representing the "away jerseys." This shoe sparked a wave of fake dunks, but the true identity of the authentic Rayguns is in the alien graphic.
